We hope that you and your pets had a fun-filled, relaxing summer! Summer officially comes to an end this Monday. You may have noticed that we are a little busier than normal for this time of year. The number of our overnight guests has stayed at a steady 60 per weekend, versus the usual 30 per weekend. We have also had a huge influx in the amount of regular daycare customers. We want to thank you for your patience when it takes a little longer to check your dog in or out.

You may have also noticed a sign posted by the front door, stating our closings for the upcoming High Holy Days. Those closings are as listed on our Hours and Rates page, as well as the sidebar to the right. We appreciate your understanding. And if you have ever wondered what happens when we are closed for these religious observances, you’re not the only one! During these closings, everything is exactly the same except there we don’t serve any customers! Our guests’ schedule remains the same. They still get to play outside, bark at squirrels, and dig as many holes as they want. We are still here supervising our guests; we just don’t answer the phones or conduct business of any kind.

Lastly, we know that the holidays seem far away but if you already have plans to go out of town without your pet it is best to make a reservation for them now. We are already 30% full for Thanksgiving and 35% booked for Christmas. We recommend you make your holiday reservations as soon as possible to ensure your pet has a space. If we continue to book at the speed we are right now, we will probably be fully booked by end of October.

We hope your autumn is filled with crisp cool days and lots of pupkin spiced lattes!
